    While that would be wonderful, not sure I would be able to focus or function on that task if my stove was hitting 800 stt.

    If someone's running a cat stove and it starts to overfine, bypassing the catalyst would be the first thing I'd do and let things mellow out that way for a bit.

    Edit: Came back to add- staying calm is also important. Freaking out and being rash rarely if ever is the right move.
