He posted this today the 16th anniversary of his accident. Chainsaw kicked back into my cousin Tony's face. Copied from his Facebook page Tony's Chainsaw awareness day... Today as I was plowing the driveway thinking about all the people that tell me they think about me every time they cut wood. I say to you be careful think about what you are going to do, eliminate the hazards prior to starting and reevaluate often. I love cutting firewood, it's so peaceful, don't get me wrong it's hard work but while you are doing it you can think about anything you want. That being said don't loose track of how dangerous it is as well, trust me a kickback or a fluke can absolutely happen at anytime. I am grateful and very lucky to be alive several times over in my life. If it hadn't been for family and friends I wouldn't have made it. It's not only the physical but mental as well. So this year be careful and don't get complacent. To my family and friends, THANK YOU!!!
