Not anymore. It turned white overnight! Maybe couple inches that seems to have changed to freezing rain. I have a load in the PU and would love to go to storage to split, BUT im not driving in ice.
Yes the muffler has been modified. The noise level is not obnoxious. I’d compare it to a CR80 with FMF expansion chamber and can. It sounds good to me.
I can send you some of....all of this. This had settled considerably before I took the pics this morning.
Half cord load of red oak. The half cord rack i gave her. Approx. 5x10' inside dimensions. Makes it easier for me to stack...no cribbing ends. Some went on her back porch.
Full truck and trailer. Mostly beech with some maple, a little ash, some basswood, and a pinch of elm.
Well i mix it up. That load went late yesterday. I S/S fresh inventory beforehand. Delivered first today and S/S after. Nice and seasonably cold here and im loving it. With the frozen ground i was able to access stacks i havent been able to. 12"+ of rain here since December first.
Another load of mixed safely home ready to split down. Sent from my motorola edge plus 5G UW (2022) using Tapatalk
To be quite honest, you'll see almost anything there. Came from a guy clearing fence rows. Everything was just piled together. Came out with a lot of nice splits when I finished processing and totaled just over 1/3 cord. I'm planning for 1-2 more loads from him.
Frozen ground makes all the difference. Ours has frozen hard over the past week or so. Forecasting warmer weather on the way, so we’ll see how long it stays frozen. I can access where I have been cutting, but probably won’t so I don’t leave ruts everywhere.
I accessed a stack in back at storage for the first time since i can remember. Culvert with flowing water was still flowing despite the cold temps here the past several days. 40-44 month old honey locust cord finally sold. Half cord going tomorrow. I have red & white oak, hickory and BL stacked back there including 3-4 cords to S/S too. Im going to abandon the area due to this. The old inventory of BL getting pulled and stacked in the three cord rack in front yard.
