Wood ID.

I got a load of wood today. Not the best at id’ing. Beech,black birch. What else u see.

 

Cherry, red oak and maybe some hickory?

 

Looks like also a few red maple limbs

 

One black birch log in the center of the second picture.

 

First pic left to right. Black oak, silver maple, red oak, cherry, red oak, birch, birch, cherry (underneath) red oak (on top), last 2 ?
Second pic. L-R, half log-? cherry, ?, birch, white oak (underneath), hard maple, hard maple, white oak, hickory?, ?.

 

Thanks. All pretty good BTUs then. Me and my son have some c/s/s to do. He said 6 cords but we’ll see.

 

I see red oak and cherry too. Nice Goldilocks size too.

 

Yes manageable logs which is nice. 3/4 of a logging truck. Wife thinks I’m nuts.

Once I c/s/s will get another one. Not gonna kill myself. So probably couple weeks.
