Hey gang? We just got a pummel of rain and another batch on the way Tuesday. How are you folks in New England? MikeInMa tree killer The New Hampshire clan and such? Here down in Hell, there telling us all the doom and gloom about up North. The way I see it, it's "another" New England snow storm... ;)

We're fine. Snow management today is priority 1! I have a few hours of moving snow out of the way.

We got ~9inches of snow. Half of that was heavy/wet. The other half, the more recent half, is fluffier.

I do need to rake the roof ahead of the inches of rain coming Tuesday night.

Fine here. Ground bare. They keep talking about the coming storm and it will be worse. I noticed on the local forecast this morning that we might get 2" of snow. Egads! How will we ever get through this?!!!

We got a whooping inch of snow yesterday in this horrid storm. I didn’t even start my plow truck. Tomorrow night is a different story. We don’t need this one after a couple weeks ago. The mess still isn’t cleaned up.

Thankfully I’m off Wednesday, getting injections instead. Not sure what would be more fun.

9" of snow Sunday and 3-6" coming today. then lots of rain. When I was cleaning up Sunday I did think to snow blow pathways for water management. Yesterday I re-attached my extension pipe for the sump pump outlet. That may have been wasted effort since my roof hasn't dumped yet. When it dumps, it may knock that pipe off, but it's the thought that counts, right?

All that meltage has to go somewhere and it ain't going into the ground, so that means more flooding. Worse thing that will happen for me is if it comes in thru the garage door - but that's why there is the sump. Trees might be in danger from the high winds and snow load too. Eh, another winter.

We got 11 inches of very light fluffy snow, with no wind. It was not very much of a " storm ". Were we supposed to all die in the snow fall?

So they changed the forecast to 5-8" of snow before the rain.

We got a full Nor-Easter coming today!!! Talking 60+ mph wind. It's a fast mover though, but actually it's late. We usually see these roll in about November. It is what it is!

Upped us to 6-9” overnight changing to heavy rain at daybreak. High dropped from 49 to 42. Winds up to 60. We don’t need any of it.

7 on ground 70 mph coming

give you 10 to 1 this one more hype then not..

I still like one 4 years ago that was under hyped 2-4 inches.. 4 hours in to storm snow depth; at my knees drifts higher:D

every hour increased totals to what was on ground

Good grief… mud season is going to be off the charts w/ all this rain, following the 3-4” of white stuff that fell a few days ago. No likes…

Got anywhere from 8" to a foot here. Our first real storm of the winter. Came home from work early. The paved roads were very sketchy and I was pushing snow with the CRV on my gravel and drive. Doesn't help that we have NW winds pushing 40mph.[IMG][IMG]

It didn't start snowing until late afternoon so I have no idea how much fell. Looks like the fence gates will need to be dug out though. Now it is raining and I was listening to the roof start dumping a couple of hours ago (it still has a long way to go, it's just dumping small loads). I was hoping that the snow would get going soon enough that I could snow blow at least a portion - but that didn't happen.

    No wind yet though.

We had zero snow at 4am yesterday. Then it slammed us with about 2" making the roads and parking lots a nightmare for about 2 hours. Then, the winds started! Temps rose rapidly to the mid 40's and roads got a little better, except for the tree branches. Tons of power lines down and a roof was lost on a farm dairy barn.

From my buddies YT channel in the Akron/Canton area...
