If anyone is wasting their time watching the Pats play in Foxborough, the weather you see on your TV is the same as we are getting here. Should end at about 7 Pm. Two more storms are predicted for this week.

A good example of what we usually, if technically erroneously, call a salt box house. It's proper term would be biscuit box, and a long time ago we more commonly had houses similar to the New England saltbox, but not very many are left now. These boxy houses with nearly flat roofs were relatively easy to build 100 years ago when carpentry, and especially sawmilling, was a backbreaking ordeal, and they've become the common image of a traditional Newfoundland home, and in certain rural communities there are still a fair number of them surviving, but they are not very common in my area now.

this one, now a vacation rental located in Dildo across from the marina, is more than 100 years old and extremely well restored. Love the blue siding. They do have an old time charm to them, but one can also see why they've fallen out of favor in more modern times.

I've been having back spasms in the morning for a couple of weeks now.

This morning, while putting my socks on, it happened again. Except this time it has stayed all day so far.

Very quiet day for me. :picard:

    Feel better wildwest

Sounds like someone needs plenty of water (easy to get dehydrated this time of year) and some good stretches...a few sessions with a good PT can be very valuable to learn what exercises/stretches best help with your particular physical issues...

No to the foolball, couldn’t pay me to watch that BS! Wednesday looks bad considering what we just had. We don’t need more rain and wind.

My thoughts exactly. In fact, if it's a sport that doesn't have a motor in it or goes bang, I'm not interested in watching it.

No she’s good, actually does very little hands on now mostly administrative work. We just don’t see eye to eye in times of need. I have spent so far 4 of the last 7 as a patient in her office and she just stays away. Works much better that way.

So just noticed something tonight...opened up a 2 pack of "Mallow Cup" from a Christmas goodie bag and started munching...hey, these things are big...like the size that Reese Cups used to be! :hair:

Oh no! :bug: I'll bet it was tough getting up after that too. Hopefully it won't be too long before your daughter can take on that chore.
