Who's prepping for the supposed Snow-pacolypse 2024?

So..........not really a big thing then......this apocalypse?

I'll radio wildwest and have her cancel the FHC air drop and return to the hangar.

 

Here in the southwest corner of Michigan, this is what we got overnight. Currently 32.9° Snow is already falling/dripping outta the trees.

 

The picnic table is my unofficial official measuring spot as it’s some what protected from the wind. We are right around 8 inches and still coming down off and on supposed to be over around dark. About to get the wheeler and dogsled out to pull the kids around for a bit. We made omelets for breakfast and there is come chicken soup going on the wood stove. A nice winter day to relax and enjoy without the usual hustle and bustle around weekends have become.

4 to 6" here. still falling.
not a non issue, but certainly nothing big.

The wife and I watch very little TV, She will watch an occasional movie and the Food Channel. I watch none, and neither of us watch the news, so we aren't exposed to the "we're all gonna die" weather idiots. We got 6" as of now and still snowing hard. last night we had a bonfire all stacked to go, when it started snowing we lit it up, a good time was had.

Yikes! You might be thinking of "Nemo" which was February 2013. Her and i were stuck for four days in her apartment.

 

Couple inches here. Birds are feasting. Snowing again.

What a dud of a storm for us. The fear mongering weather forecasters in the area should be kicked squarely in the nuts for what they do.

 

we were in an apartment at the time. We relaxed, read, enjoyed each other's company for a few days.
It was rather nice.

 

Just changed from rain to snow here a few minutes ago.
Wunderground is now forecasting 1 to 3 for accumulation total.

 

More of less the same for her and i. We were in the process of moving back to here.

 

Just picked back up and is snowing harder than it has been all day, time to get the wet stuff off and warm up a bit.

 

About the same here in west Michigan.

 

It’s pretty much wrapped up here. A hair over 8” is what we got. There’s some abrupt elevation changes close by so I don’t doubt we had more locally.

 

yup just started an hour ago here it Fairhaven and we have about 3” already.
