Have someone check that a valve isn't just stuck open... The 212cc was on sale for $99 black Friday weekend...not that it helps any now...
Very possible . Other than no compression nothing. I did not even go any further. By the time I take it apart , figure out what went wrong , order parts and get it back together it is not worth it. I have a Predator Motor in stock (new) that I have had sitting in a box from one of our classes for the students. We end up with 6-8 of them a year left from student classes for the taking. Everyone in the shops ends up taking them home to use on whatever they choose. They have ended up on go-karts , mini bikes , PSI washers , so why not a splitter. Bottom line is it is brand new , free , and in stock. As long as the bolt patterns are the same ( should be) then it is a quick simple fix.
Even if I had to pay for it I’d rather just swap the engine than mess around tearing into one these days. Certainly the easier/faster route.
Most definetly. 4 motor mount bolts, 4 pump mount bolts , and a set screw holding the coupler on the shaft should be it. Oh and a hammer. Every job gets one of those.
Haha I went Christmas shopping for about one hour this year. Bought myself another 3 lb hammer Ya just can’t have too many smashers around.
