40/70 with some ash and cherry. I was planning on doing some cutting today, but shaping up to be a washout. Guess I'll finish my Christmas shopping.

44/69. Spotty drizzle, heavy fog & really not looking forward to the predicted 2" of rain expected later today/tonight. Just lit a fire with RO.

Not much heat loss on a calm day at nearly 40!

A lot of it went away with the rain we had the last couple days. There is still some but not much.

Might be a white Christmas here after all, long as it doesn't melt this week. Strangely, the temp dropped rapidly this evening and we're sitting at -10C/14F. Pine chunkies heating the shack.

Falling temps throughout the day and the wind will be switching from the north.

1-2 inches already with that much more falling (sideways-apparently) today.

Not to worry though. Beginning Tue, daytime highs will once again be above freezing.

Wood pile is liking these temps!

46 and rain. Just put a few pieces of Beech in the Wood Gun. I turned it off last night before bed because it hadn’t kicked on for a long time. And the boiler and tank were still 160 this morning.

Heavy rains through the night and gusty winds knocked out power to the house.

Very mild outside and temps inside were right around 70. Power went out while I was in the shower.
    Could be worse.

Looking like the coldest day of the week today starting out at 24f. Talking a high this afternoon of mid-30's. Screenshot_20231218_074113_WeatherBug.jpg Need to get the truck unloaded so I can take it in for tire rotation, something I normally do, but this time I have 2 tires loosing air so need them repaired and I don't think the shop will appreciate 3,000+ pounds, a guess, of wood in the back.

More wonky weather here, cooled off to -19C/-2F around midnight, and then proceeded to warm up ever since. Sitting at -8C/17F this morning and should make it above the freezing mark later. Pine as always.
