    So I thought my credit card fraud problem from the Comcast overseas call center had been resolved. The credit card company said they would credit my account and it should appear in 3-10 days. Yesterday was day 10 and nothing so I called. The first 2 people said the credit was there and I assured them it wasn't. The third person told me they had applied the credit to my closed account. All the purchases and payments from the old account had been transferred to the new account which was opened prior to the credit being issued. And I no longer have access to the old account. What kind of a moron would do this? She said the credit would be on my new account within 72 hours. My frustration level is through the roof.

    If someone had access to the old card number and used it couldn’t they use it again? New account will have a different number so that can’t happen? Just a thought.

    I feel ya there I went through all kinds of hoops with Comcast years ago and then even more of a nightmare with seriousXM. Never again...

    I was refunded by both and then both took money out again after closing my accounts. When I called to ask what happened they said I never closed the accounts. You can imagine what happened from there.... The short is I finally got a refund and then immediately got a new debit card with a different number...Because they couldn't charge me Comcast immediately started emailing, calling and sending me late notices via the post office I ignored them until I got an actual late bill then I had to go to an attorney with it and have him draw a letter up stating I would go to court given I had the cancelation confirmation. That stopped Comcast in their tracks thankfully. SeriousXM just went away finally.

    I usually have 2 hours of light when I get home to do whatever outside, today I was stacking some wood. I see the usps van pull into the driveway which means he has some packages to deliver. I stop what I’m doing and walk towards the van to grab them. As I get closer I hear something pretty loud over his radio. When I come around to the sliding door he looks at me nervously and says “oh, hey”. I grab the packages but realize what he is listing to is a rather explicit X rated “story”. I looked at him and laughed he couldn’t look me in the eye. I told him ya might want to turn that down before you get out of the van next time and laughed. His face was red as a tomato. I really don’t care but I’m sure if some house wife got an earful of that he might be in hot water!

    Wow, some wild stories lately. For sure those things are frustrating. It reminds me of my battle with Epson. Problems with printer while still under warranty. Long story short they drug it out by several times wanting me to try something, which did not work then Bingo! Warranty ran out. Fortunately the attorney general got wind of this and one day Epson called me and again wanted me to try some things. I asked if this was what the attorney general ordered them to do. Immediately they instructed me to send the printer in when I received the new one.
