    I've been missing from action lately but got home last might. Had a good trip but a few problems, including a nasty traffic backup in a construction zone. Not sure what the problem was but it took around an hour before we got going again.

    House was cold because of no heat while we were gone but its ok now.

    Morning all. Dark, wet and windy this morning. My last official day at work was really nice. People brought presents again, chocolate, flowers and cards. I really feel bad (not really) showing up again today. Today I have to actually work and not supervise as I am in for the new person. It should be the last day for awhile.

    Sourwood campinspecter is looking forward to tomorrow when we don't get up in the morning according to my schedule but to his.

    I watched a lot of football yesterday instead of running around doing chores and trying to fit a lot into my one day available to get things done around the house. Each game had rather unexpected results so it was interesting to watch.

    Planning call about a tree removal job this morning, if he says yes, Sam and I will go play with our toys.

    Yesterday was clean up and organize around the mill/log yard day, sorting logs, shoveling sawdust, stacking lumber etc, also cut farwood for a while, so Sam wouldn't run out of wood to split. IMG_20231204_114556.jpg

Slept till my alarm... :coffee: ... busy day... hopefully will set the new robot in place... have soo many things against me on this... will see how it goes... slow and methodical ... and then probably spend most of the day at the two warehouse's supervising 2 crews working down there...

    Cooler start today. 28/38. Cloudy. There's ocean-effect snow this morning, south of the Boston area. It's not supposed to go far enough inland to reach us.

    If you haven't seen the "lost members" thread, I visited with Midwinter, yesterday.

    Basically, she's heading to Florida in a couple of weeks. Returning in the spring. She's hoping to fully move, later in 2024. Lots to work to prep house for sale.

    I get to swap out some stack covers with some black rubber I picked up from her. Thanks again, Midwinter

    I'll bring wood up to the deck.
