    Morning all. Dark and wet out there today. I think it is going to be like that all day.
    My last official day of work today. I feel confident that my replacement will be able to handle it. Nice thing is that while we were working through the training, I was learning things from her as well. I think sometimes we get so bogged down in doing things in a certain way, that we don't see the possibilities of something different.

    42/53 possibility of rain.

    Sawdust production is on the docket for today.

    Yesterday was a low productivity day, but I did get a few crooked logs sawed up after town and installing the new battery on the mill.

    I recently had a batch of blades that were breaking way prematurely, and I called woodmizer yesterday to see what they would say...5 pleasant minutes later they had a new box of 15 blades shipping to me.... free of charge.

    Morning all. We are in our November rain pattern now. Heavy rains off and on all night. It did let up for the town Christmas light up down town. One of the logging companies has a excavator and gravel truck all lit up. The excavator is dumping presents into the truck. I will try to get pictures tonight.

    The angel Gabriel was busy as the prophesied time was approaching. First was a message to Zechariah with message of the coming birth of John the Baptist. Next the exciting message to Mary regarding the Messiah's birth. And finally the confirmation message to Joseph to accept Mary's pregnancy. Heaven was waiting excitedly for these events to happen and fulfil prophesy. Now, as we await the wonderful return of our Lord Jesus Christ to take us home, we have the opportunity to share the Good News of salvation to those around us.

    For the Mighty One has done great things for me— holy is his name. Luke 1: 49

    Morning all. Wet and windy again this morning. Yesterday had a few good downpours. Our church has a metal roof and a skylight in it. During the sermon, it got quite noisy. Last night was wet as well.
    Inside day today with end of month bookkeeping, soup making and football. Last night's college game was quite different. I was rooting for the third string quarter back.

    MikeInMa Vancouver Canucks are a bit of a surprise this year so far. It would be nice if it continued all season. We don't usually watch hockey until all the pre-season is over and they get into the playoffs in March when the real season starts. lol

    Woodwidow - I've noticed where the Canucks are in the standings. They seem to have things in place for a playoff run.
