    It seems at least one person if not several, get something wood hoarding related on a Black Friday deal. Splitters are usually a pretty common Black Friday special.

    How about this year? Anyone get anything?
    I’ll go first.
    I treated myself to an early Christmas present, ordered online on last Friday and it came today. Kinda obvious what’s in the boxes, but y’all gotta guess exactly what it is. IMG_1510.jpeg

    I've looked several years for an electric splitter on Black Friday sales. A few places have them but shipping kills the deal. Turns out a bit less buying at a local Murdochs paying full price. Oh well.

    The only black Friday deal i bought was a new Dewalt portable table saw for work (and some personal use) On sale for $300 save $100.

    I did buy a new 20" bar for the saws. No black Friday special but it came up for sale after waiting two years for one. Thread to follow when it arrives (maybe today)

    Congrats on the new toy! (even though its the wrong brand) :rofl: :lol:

    I debated for a while about a 572 but my 372 works pretty good IMG_1511.jpeg IMG_1512.jpeg 36” bar. Probably take it out back for its maiden cuts this afternoon. May put a shorter bar on it.

    Aahhh a 592 !! My Supreme saw hoarder friend has one, I've ran it and very strong performer. That will slay the big diameter stuff in style.

    Congrats on the new saw. :thumbs:

    Mebbe one of these years ill get a 661 (same CC in a Stihl), but really have little use for a saw that size. Ill run the 36 bar on the 500 or 460 should i need it.

    Darren, my neighbor that I work with/for occasionally came by to see what I was up to. He’s trying to talk himself into a 500i.
    We have some more cottonwoods to clear this winter, he figures he knows what saw I’ll be using.
