He was just plain lazy. Good friend I grew up with knows him quite well, like all too well. Nothing serious was ever wrong with him. He’s a moocher by nature. His wife left him cause she couldn’t take any more of his nonsense. Apparently not the first one to do so.

They are planning to move to FLA, close to Brandon Scott. I think she is coming down for the winter, try to sell the house in the spring.

Such a shame she's leaving us. She was an even bigger firewood scrounger than I was then. When she drove up for the GTG Well Seasoned place the first time. She said for the last 50 miles there wasn't even a stick on the side of the road, and she knew she was getting close to where I was.

Yep, Molly has vowed that she has seen her last winter up here. I believe they will be heading south just after Christmas, then will be back in March to try and get the house on the market. I am going to try and make a stop at her house tomorrow and pick up some more loot.

Ive taken about a cord of cherry so far. I am planning to put a dent in her oak stack this week while I am burning vacation time. Figure I will use that to stuff my wood shed for this year rather than move what I planned to use this year.

There is still A LOT more too. I would guess about 3 cords of locust, then a lot of randoms that I am not sure on species of yet. Theres gotta be at least 10-12 more cords

Yup. Eric Perkins a Carmel native moved over by brooks and goes to the same church as him or he used to (church was more his wife than him kind of thing). Every time I see him I get all kinds of stories. Chase toys in unity drove him out of their store too over his mouth running about how he got screwed on a saw. That was his own fault and they were done dealing with him.

Haven’t seen any posts from Rope lately. Probably busy up there in Alaska. Hope everything’s okay with him & his family.

I can confirm this.... I know Katie (she lives nearby) and her "was"band liked to "stray"

Might have to have another g2g. Everything up here is booked for the eclipse but an FHC north country eclipse g2g might be pretty cool!

Yeah. Definitely an odd couple from what I’m told. Lots of history there.

    Hey all.

Thought I'd catch up on some of the old guard I haven't seen since I've been gone.

I see and text Grizzly every so often. Nice guy in person. But yes I don't think he'll be back.

He switched jobs and moved to a new home without a wood burner and seems to be doing well.
