For parts of the states especially in eastern areas I think thats true but for many of us in the western provinces and states it means a drier and milder winter. If Im not mistaken California will see an increase in precipitation.

It’s 22 F degrees here. It’s been cold, dark and snowing all day.

The sun peeked out and winked at me just as it was setting this evening. I winked back. My son always says that our forest is magical. I tend to agree with him.

Just finished plowing our road for the second time today. Im totally exhausted and headed for bed very soon.

I’m currently burning a nice mix of Douglas Fir, Silver Maple, Apple and Ponderosa Pine.

It’s 75 degrees in the house.

    Everyone stay warm!

    Love, Cash

42 finally getting some rain. There was a wildfire on a nearby mountain. Burning a few pieces of oak. The Persimmon I burned yesterday filled the stove with ash.

According to last week's forecast, today is the day that we were going to begin a 2-3 day blast of winter weather.

    Ain't gonna happen. :handshake:

Rain, windy and low 40s most of the day.
Started with ash this morning. Couldn't wait to come home from work and stuff the stove with ash and red oak splits.

Rainy and 40s had day off work. Did some errands, bought a new saw and picked up this 1/2 steel plate at scrap price from local metal shop. Should add some thermal mass and keep stovetop cleaner looking than bricks did. Fresh reload. House at 73 IMG_20231121_174128.jpg
