6+ cord of 3 year old Oak and Ash with a little Hickory to add flavor.
It's always a good feeling to step back and admire your work/ hoard.

Solid it is. Cart was built at least 40 years ago. It has worn out many of lawn tractors and ATVs. The only thing I've done was a couple of plywood beds and a couple sets of tires and wheels.

That is a great mix of wood which will make you one very happy wood burner next winter.

Great looking stacks Ward Hoarder! We must have all been squirrels in a previous life, ya know? Planning ahead has always been a measure of good character to me, and it’s obvious that you got it:dex:

5+ cord of mixed Appalachian hardwood relocated to the wood shed. Still have a year and a half on the hill stacked and a year plus in a pile. Plus some slabs from the sawmill.

I should be close to the 4 year plan by the end of the day tomorrow. Tree service dropped off about 2/3 of a cord of long dead honey locust day before yesterday. Got it bucked tonight after work and will split and stack tomorrow. Have to go to my folks in Nebraska and take down a couple of 30” dbh ash trees sometime in the next couple months. Will take the dump trailer and put the sideboards on the dually for that haul. Should be able to bring back 3-1/2 cords from that. Seems a shame to cut the ash trees down…they are healthy, but Dad is tired of dealing with the seeds. No ash trees left in western Ks, so will be a treat to get some in the stacks.
