    She accidentally scared the living he** out of her sister a few weeks back with those snakes.....we had a fire going in the fireplace out there and her sis came down to visit and Mrs. Overkill failed to mention the 'Fake Snake campaign'......lol

    After a long hiatus from the FHC due to life happening, I'm so glad I poked my head back in and found this project back on the rails and nearing the finish line.

    Scotty Overkill that oven is a true work of art! I'm glad you are getting such great use out of it already. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled anytime I go cruising down I-99. I feel like you could almost see that thing from space once you get the fire ripping in it. Excellent work!

    :tip:to you and all of your help through the process! It had to be hard keeping the dream alive after all of the set backs but will be well worth it for many years to come.

    I've been good. The firewood hoarding has slowed in the last 2 years so gotta get caught back up. We have twin girls that just turned 2 and our boy just turned 5 so I'm finally starting to see a chance to get back to hoarding in the near future.

    How are things on the western side of the Ohio River these days?

    Absolutely sir! I'll do a snow pizza thread at some point, we almost fired it up tonight but I didn't get done with tree work til late.

    Here's a pic of the stonework finished up and the French drain installed and backfilled. One step closer to the finish line!

    Very nice, I am going to start another one this fall at the new house. I am going to downsize the pizza oven to aid in preheat time. We are trying to decide if we want a fireplace or just a cooking area.
    It will be off of the covered patio and pool area, I will do pavers to match the existing. Also will be under roof. Thinking about something along these lines.
