I want to monitor my stove temperatures throughout the night. I also want to know my stove's temperature without having to get up and look at the thermometer. My phone is usually with me, so a thermometer that reports and records temps which I can pull up on my phone is ideal. I see products in Europe, but can't find anything here. Anyone know of something good?
Might look at the barbecue world. Lots of Wi-Fi or Bluetooth enabled thermometers that use standard thermocouples. I have an auber digital thermometer for my flue on the nc30 and its digital display is “remote” and legible from across the room. I think they had a Wi-Fi version people were using for basement stoves.
