No over night burn, highs in mid 50s next couple of day with lows in 30s and 20s. Lit up before work to get the house warmed up before temps drop. Ash, punky silver maple, an unknown maple, crabapple

Mutleys aren’t bothered by it. Pine, Cherry mix in the Wood Gun.

18 degrees here, suppose to be cold in the morning though. Saw my 81 year old neighbor coming home with a big load of wood right before dark. Said he might quit cutting after he hit 80, but our utility rates are going up 28 percent this year. Can't blame him.

44 ° out 75° in pine and catalpa in the quadrafire. It's been pretty warm out, warmer than typically.

I have 50/67. No fire yesterday and I’m about to light one to take the chill off for wife who’s home all day. Temps are supposed to remain low 50’s.

27f this morning and should have had an overnight fire, but no. 51f for this afternoon so should be okay letting the NG furnace run once or twice during the day. May crank up this evening, just have to see.

32/65 with fresh snow. Not enough to shovel (thank you, God!) but enough to cover the "dog land mines"

Weather is still mild here. Burning some marginal quality ash in the boiler for hot water. I might not have to turn the heat on for another week, or more.

Yesterday was cold with a stiff and bitter cold wind blowing all day long. Made the 30's feel more like teens! Even made the dog walks miserable for us (but not the dogs).

    Winds are calm now.

I was talking with a couple buddies up around L'Anse & Baraga yesterday. Yup, the UP is a totally different climate than what us trolls get
