    That reminds me of the time in the Saginaw news when they decided to do an article on the annual elk hunting season. They even posted a picture of a caribou. :loco: :crazy: :picard: I think the reporter was the same one who reported on the fall leaves. Said something about the color was getting good on the maples, oaks, beech, pine, poplar and many others. I keep looking every year for some of those pines that have leaf drop...

    Well, there is the Tamarack and Larch. They do turn color but I wouldn't refer to them as a pine. Kinda close.......:handshake:

    Eastern White Pine lose their old needles all at once in a rather showy display along with the deciduous trees in Fall. The old needles that turn golden can be 1/3 to 1/2 of the needles on the tree.
