It’s a Ruger M77 Mark II International in 308 Win. Will have it in my hands Nov 18 for the Wisconsin gun opener.

Congrats Buttermilk that's a great buck. He's got some tall G2's!

Ron T my vacation starts tomorrow after work until the 12th as well! They seem to have been searching these past few days so I'm hoping the chasing picks up this weekend and next week. Good luck!

Thanks. Right at 14 inches. He was 18 and a 1/4 wide. Not knocking him but some mass and better eye guards would have made him a huge eight point.

Saw one more small one after that. Here's the 4th as I was in the house getting lunch. Hopefully he comes back through as I am out now. spypoint_23825465034612.jpg

Made me think of years back when I working midnights. Sat down against a tree and fell asleep during gun season. Woke up and heard something beside me. Dang buck and tried to spin sideways but he was too quick.

We had just sat down for dinner tonight and something caught my eye going across the side yard. I jump up and look out the front window and there they were. There's two more to the left out of the picture. Ironically we were eating a deer roast  .

Today was the First morning I was able to hunt. A little slow, saw a 4 point chasing a doe, tons of squirrels. Then I heard some fast footsteps behind me. Once I saw her, I forgot about deer. About 35 yard shot. Blood trail was crazy. Broke my arrow in half.

Good job! A neighbor just had two coyotes kill her cat in the back yard as she watched from her window. Coyotes in the suburbs are not on my "Live and Let Live" list! and maybe not anywhere:mad:

Nice shot! Do you shoot mechanicals? It looks like the broadhead might have bottomed out and ran out of steam on the backside shoulder. I had a deer that happened to last year and broke my arrow in half. Either way good shooting.
