Lol. We got around 3-3.5" here on the patio table and it's apparently not done snowing yet. The roads were just wet here as it wasn't sticking to the bare ground. There's a little on the lawn. Edit.. it stuck to the blacktop drive way when. A county plow just went by and plowed the cul de sac. It will all melt as it's supposed to to 45 tomorrow and nearly 60 by Friday.
32° pine and box elder in the stove. 75° inside

Been getting to mid-30's during the day and mid-20's at night. Couple of fires a day and must say, so far, the wood I'm pulling is burning well with no issues. Hope it will continue for the season as I would hate to waste my locust when it's not needed.

We got maybe an inch of snow today and only stuck on the grassy surfaces. Roads are just wet and by supper time most of the snow had already melted. Still burning shoulder wood.

It's a 2022 vogelzang vg3200p. Junk horribly designed Chinese stove. 3 cubic ft fire box
I have redneck engineered it into a modern smoke dragon. I've blocked off all secondary tubes air flow. It still has front air wash and a rear boost air

We had our 1st overnight fire, last night. Ash

Mid-30's outside. Plenty enough coals for easy reload.

32/70. White oak, red oak and hickory are my choices. Can't go wrong with any of them.

I found all 10 hidden unregulated hidden air ports and blocked them off with magnets and 2000f stove cement. Added another layer of ceramic fiber board baffles to the existing one on top of the secondary tubes. It took me a full season of tinkering to figure this stove out. In factory form with a full load it could literally melt the stovetop even with 3 dampers in my stovepipe. The stovetop has a 1/4 to 1/2" divit in it from where it was melting when I first got the stove.horribly unsafe product don't buy one of these
