Having a nice outdoor fire. It's currently 37° out, but it's nice by the fire Pups will be tired tomorrow. They are running all over the yard, chasing each other.
Burned a limb and pallet pile for a friend, started raining but that didn't slow it down. Burning the brush piles at the Plantation job we did... A little more normal fires this weekend while we were camping.
You guys out there at the Michigan GTG inspired me to fire up my outdoor pit for the first time this year. Gonna do marshmallows with the kids later on after this burns down a bit. In the background is an eastern red cedar bench I just “milled” with the chainsaw and slapped together. I’ll sand it some more later on and polyurethane it before the color fades.
Cuttin', noodlin', splittin', and burnin' Aside from a few limbs, I'm burning arm fulls of bark. I remove the loose bark and brush the split off. Leave the loose stuff in the woodyard. The bark has been under cover. Nice fire from it!
