Okay. Replaced a carb and found the throttle spring was not connected, likely when I removed the fuel tank. I cannot see how this thing is routed . Also. Does it go into the nut with a hole and set screw, it one of the three holes on the lever? There are obstacles that don’t seem to off a route without binding. Arrow indicates direction throttle moves.
Just taking a stab at it. The solid linkage/w spring connects between Governor arm and throttle control and the longer (circled spring) connects from the governor arm to the throttle butterfly on the carb. What engine does it have? You may find a parts diagram to answer the question better.
Deererainman It is an LCT 208cc. Did some searching and no luck. There is another spot I hooked it to , that is more natural that the other options, but it seems to keep the throttle closed and counter to opening when moving the lever.
Hard to see but the angle of the spring in that picture looks funky. To me that should be in a straighter line. But not sure??

I may be missing some part Same throttle control as mine in this closeup of the unconnected spring. Looks like it may need to connect to that square hole that can be partially seen u der that spring/screw thing.
Did you get this solved? It looks like the same throttle set up as my splitter. I can take some pics if you still need the info
Brad M I think the engine may be lost. I got a new carb but don’t like the sound. Plan to replace it with a 212cc Predator his week. Can’t delay keeping this thing running. Need to keep a splitting’
