Nope...it went straight up, so honestly an umbrella would have been better than a fat guy anyways!
But seriously, wish you could have made it...if you weren't totally in the wrong direction I'd have come picked you up!

I well remember what it was like. Mama cried a lot. It all turned out good though and we enjoyed living our later lives together; just the 2 of us, like we started out. It was fantastic! May yours be the same.

It was a bummer you couldn't make it bud. I love them taters too.

I have an umbrella for mine , I was so busy Saturday I didn't think about getting it out. I also forgot to get a group picture of the cold and wet woodcutters. I am still amazed at the amount of firewood that got processed with the weather we had. Thanx Again

I was hunting the group photo and noticed it's absense. No worries. The wood got made and that's the whole deal anyways!

Thanks for hosting Walt. Hopefully I'll see you again next year. One of these years I do plan on staying for dinner.

2978 (1).jpeg 2979 (1).jpeg we had a good morning here yesterday. 24 friends showed up at daylight and we cut and split till noon. Last Friday there wasn't a split of wood there , with my FHC friends we put a big dent in it last weekend. We had seven splitters and six elevators working yesterday. Earlier this fall we were able to deliver 21 cord to folks in need , when this is all cut and split I think there should be between 30 and 40 cord to be delivered next fall. We were blessed with good weather yesterday morning then after lunch down at the cabin it started raining. My son Curtis clumb on top of the hen house to take these pictures. I thought you that helped last weekend would enjoy seeing yesterday's progress. There is still alot to do but I get to go out back and cut or split whenever I want to.
