    While it isn't even what I consider "cool" put yet this evening, it's supposed to drop down to 40 degrees or so tonight, and the anticipation had been eating me bad.....we lit the Napoleon NZ3000 up. We've missed the coziness!!

    I'm thinking a small fire in the a.m. Wife isn't cold yet, 54°F outside, but still warm inside. (Maybe I'll secretly open some windows;))

    I think the burning season is going to start a little early this year. Scotty is that a outdoor fire pit in your avatar, that's COOL AS HELL , I want one!!!!!

    Thanks for the compliments guys.....you guys have beautiful hearths too. We'll have to do a thread once the season kicks into full gear and do a gallery totally dedicated to fireplaces and wood stoves in the "burn" mode!

    I should call it the "Room of Doom". That section of our house damm near killed me. We took a part of the original 1918 house and combined it with an addition built in 1936 and combined them. I turned all of the original roof rafters into scissor trusses, one at a time. That was kinda complex and I had some tell me it couldn't be done, but we did it and it's super strong. I'm going to do a thread on that remodel one of these days when I get time. Anyway thanks for the compliments, we spent a pile of time blood and sweat doing that room.....it's our favorite haunt in the house for sure.
