Pretty much the same here. Set my alarm to go hunting this morning and woke up to more rain. Was really hoping it would've moved outta here overnight.
Supposed to go all weekend here. Hopefully the trend continues through the winter and we get some snow!
It's supposed to go all weekend here too and yes I hope we get some snow. My fear is as warm and wet as this year has been, it's going to be lots of wet, heavy crap.
Congratulations, but don't hold your breath waiting for great-grandkids. Today's kids are more career-minded and hold off starting a family. My grandkids are too busy with their lives, and none want to be tied down yet.
My brother's old saab, pretty much like the one you have iirc, had the same issue. Ignition cassette failure.
Seems Colorado Territory was made in 1861 and a state in 1876, so why does my ancestors 1881 say "Kansas Territory"? Colorado Territory - Wikipedia
I was treated to lunch at Perkin's on Thursday and it was the best meal I've had in years. I ordered the lunch duo of 1/2 chicken sandwich and garden salad. The lettuce was crisp and fresh with spinach, onion, shredded cheddar and other yummy goodies. The 1/2 chicken sandwich was awesome too, some melted cheese on both sides with herbs and peppers, grilled texas toast, both I was surprised on how much it cost but it did make two lunches for me, that day and the next.
More rain but with wind today! Yay. Gonna get the Explorer buttoned up. Maybe do something fun this afternoon.
Oops, I looked it up, I thought I had the tree memorized. It was the 1860 census that said Kansas Territory so correct. We had Dr Quinn Medicine Woman on last night. Wild to have lived back then.
Got my PTO clutch changed on my garden tractor. Also I mowed the lawn inside the fenced area today. I'll get home earlier tomorrow after work to mow the rest of the lawn and maybe even move some more firewood. It's all up to daylight, and how much I have of that. I made park carnitas tonight and we had those for tacos tonight. It seems like it's been a long time that we've made this, since it's something we don't even think about making when it's hot out. It's so simple and good, following Rick Bayless' recipe.
Went to a car show. Think they had 555 cars from what I overheard. My dad got first in the (only) Chrysler class. Usually they break it up into stock/modified. I drove my (used to be) winter beater police package Diplomat to run the old gas out of it. I don't expect to even be competitive. Both our cars and a buddies '69 Nova, stroked big block 4 speed car.
