We have mostly Stihl equipment, added a couple Echo saws to the mix recently.
A friend gave us his FIL's Husky 55, and his dad gave us his almost new Husky 223 trimmer, he couldn't use it any longer.
We bought a Husky hand held blower/vac that works well...
On our trip from Niagara Falls to Lancaster, our route took us very close to Welcome to Stahl's Sawmill & Logging Supplies -
Good folks to buy from. We stopped by for a visit...looked at some saws, up to a 395...my hunny reminded me Father's Day was coming up...
Picked up 6 chains, a couple new hard head wedges 0613231842.jpg and.......

    This nice item...

395 will make very quick work of anything you throw at it! I have the cheaper Husky helmet and wish I got the one you did. Looking forward to your review.

My local Messicks bought out the really great Husky dealer I had close to me. They are like most these days, if I needed any part... they'd have to order it and then there was the $100 minimum before they called it in. :headbang: Then they dropped Husky and are a Stihl dealer even though there is a Privately owned full line Stihl dealer just a few miles away. Hated seeing that as the private guy was my neighbor growing up.
Now I think my best option for Husky is Stahls.

I have been considering buying a Husky helmet. What is the model # of the one you purchased and do you like it so far? I have an open station tractor and I think I’m going to start wearing a helmet while mowing and working up wood in the timber. I have so much standing dead timber that it just looks like an accident waiting to happen. I recently saw a YouTube video where a young logger literally had his life saved by wearing one of these similar type helmets. Thanks for the input.

This is the one we got and the best price. Great folks to deal with. Great prices on saw chain too.

Really like this helmet, even wear it when running string trimmer.
