I've been using various sources over the years to gather replacements and spares for my equipment. Some comes from dealers, some from the internets. Have a short list of Husky parts I need to order and thought I would ask the hoarders.

Who is your go-to Vendor for power equipment parts? Got a good dealer near by, or do you just have the stuff show up on your porch?

More or less the same as you. The last time was a bunch of parts for my 201 top handle i got from a few different sellers on ebay. Suffered blunt impact trauma! :emb:

There are four Stihl dealers within 15 minutes of me so i have them should i opt to go that route. Ive bought parts from three of them.

My local Husqvarna dealer is also a MSRP type place. They're more about mowing lawns than chopping trees. There is a good one about 40 minutes away. I also go there for Echo stuff sometimes. Used to have an awesome Echo dealer but he was forced to choose between Stihl and Echo. Echo is now sold by the local Kubota dealership. Pretty sure Echo wanted floor space for their new pressure washers and stuff and the shop just doesn't have the square footage to accomodate.

My web sources include : Chainsawr, ebay, Shindaiwa dealer in Australia lol, HLSupply, PartsTree, amazon, Bailey's and a few others.

I try to support my local dealers. Not just OPE.

And I make sure they know why I’m there.

I’ve even been asked, “why don’t you get this off Amazon.. it’s the same and cheaper.”

because there’s enough times I need real help to get hard to find items. And I need to know you’ll always be there to help me.

the owner looked at me and nodded. The employee just kind of scratched their heads.

I use the intertubes for about all my parts, depending on what I'm rebuilding at that time:D

Thanks for showing me some different options. My selling dealer had to order clutch hub bearings for my saw. I bought 2 so I had a spare if it ever goes Tango Uniform again. As common as they are, I thought they'd have them in stock. Likely could have ordered online and had them sooner
