    I’m not actively scrounging right now but I won’t pass up easy scores. I grabbed some ash off the pile. It is nice and solid. No punk. There was some big pieces of sugar maple as well. I may bring a buddy to help me grab those.

    Good stuff there Thom. Id be all over that in a heartbeat. Do they let you split there?

    Sometimes when im not actively seeking a score (it actually happens) they come up when i least expect it. Gotta grab it when the gettins good! :tree:

    From the looks of it a dull saw. Thinking those might be friction burns?

    I noticed that, I’m thinking the kind of person who would throw this wood out is an amature. I asked about splitting wood there, got a lukewarm answer. I think bringing ramps and rolling rounds onto the truck would be more acceptable.
