This popped up on my Facebook feed. Man, I really think I’ve been missing out all these years. Axe & Kindle
no words. But I reckon there's someone out there with a wallet who wants wood, no fuss no muss. NOT IT!
I couldn’t help but look again and here’s my second observation. You bought firewood instead of furniture. Maybe next year we can have chairs near the stove.
Here I always thought the best firewood out there was the one that keeps you warm. Sorry I will have to stick with my pine at that rate.
I could actually see this become successful. Lots of people will glaze over the price when they see that a pallet will ship 'free'. There are also those who will see it and consider self procurement until they start looking at $900 chainsaws and $4000 trailers and whatnot...and think...maybe I should just buy it? Then there's the 'ambience' crowd who will want wood fires in their fireplaces, but not at all want to produce said wood either by lack of capability or lack of desire to do so. 330 million or so of us in this Nation now. Only need to capture less than half a percent of that to make a pile of money. We here are the flip side of this type of business. We who have no other choice, enjoy it or both. I am blessed to have very bountiful firewood resources avialable to me. Would feel a bit odd not utilyzing it. Also really enjoy runing saws and equipment and being in the forest for any reason.
