Decent morning ahead, before showers show up.

Like theburtman stated, we'll be back to having morning fires, over the next week. I've had a fire built in the stove for a week, waiting for cool temps before putting a match to it.

40/63 wonderful temps!

Planning to saw up the sycamore and cherry we got earlier this week, then I have to get the wheel bearing back on the mill for travel Monday morning.

Yesterday, we cut a few cedar cants, then I went and got the pine job all ready for the mill.
After I got home, Tom and I loaded up the cedar for delivery next week sometime.

Morning all. Going to be a gorgeous morning. When the fog burned off yesterday, summer happened again. Nice sunny and warm day. This morning dawned clear with little pockets of fog here and there.

Sawdust Man that stack on the trailer looks far better than the previous one on the ground.

Paul and Barnabas travel many places together preaching and teaching the gospel. Lystra was their next stop. As the people gathered and listen to what they had to say, Paul noticed a crippled man who was intent on their words. Paul, in the name of Jesus, healed the man. The crowd went wild and wanted to worship Paul and Barnabas as gods. When Paul and Barnabas tried to put a stop to it, others who had other plans turned the crowd against them. It is so easy for those who are not grounded in the Word of God to get caught up and follow the popular opinion without knowing what it is really about. I pray each of us spend time in the Word of God each day and really understand the wonderful message God has given us.

Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. Acts 17:11

I've never built a fire in advance waiting for the right time to light it. After reading Mike's post I got to thinking it would be nice to have one ready to light so a all I have to do is bend over and light it and then get my coffee.

 

Exactly! Especially when just having a morning fire.

Fall has returned. Temps and dewpt in upper 40's. Bright crescent moon and lots of stars. Mid-60's and sunny later.

I had a few sips of coffee out on the deck. I couldn't breathe in enough fresh air after a muggy/foggy week.

Dealing with yard stuff this morning. Football later.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a SPECTACULAR SONDAY. 45° with a high of 71° predicted. Finally done with nite shift for a couple weeks, off today. Going to church this morning, then see what the rest of the day brings.

Yesterday morning we sawed up some sycamore and cherry & got it all stickered for drying. After that I got the wheel bearing back on the mill and packed everything up for tomorrow's job.

I'm loving this coolness!

 

Morning all. Woke up to partially clear skies with a prediction of sprinkles of rain. Yesterday was sunny and warm. Over 70 F in the afternoon. This morning it was 57 F and climbing. Summer is back for at least a couple of days.
Bookkeeping, house cleaning, and watching baseball on the agenda today. Maybe even some sewing room time.

T.Jeff Veal I don't think we have gotten temps that low yet at night. Pretty close. Enjoy the days off.
Sawdust Man those are lovely wide boards in the picture with the tape measure. I could see shelves being built around here with them.
MikeInMa I missed seeing the moon. Our big windows face north and the moon is more south. As we came back after Sabbath last night from cleaning the church, we could see the space station all lit up.

Another refreshing Fall day! Mid-40's and clear. Mid-60's later today.

I put a flame to the built fire in the wood stove. 63⁰ inside.

I'll be off to my SIL's this morning to assist with a tree take down.

After that, more yard work, possibly.
