Got another small section of fence line cleared yesterday. Did a little more today but didn’t take photos. Felled 4 trees , two small elm trees, a nice sized black walnut and a small , I think hickory ? I cut a lot of hickory but this didn’t smell like it to me. I was thinking ash but wasn’t sure if they produce nuts or fruit or whatever these are ? Any thoughts?
IME it leaves a lot of fine ash in the stove, but the heat from the burn is long and intense. Worth the trade-off.
