46 degrees for average morning Temps in northeast Pennsylvania. I am using what I had left in the woodbin from last year, mostly maple, ash, some oak and a couple pieces of elm. Just a fire in the morning for now.

Had another fire yesterday as it was cool but really damp. By the sounds of the forecast we won't be having another one for the next week.

53/67. Still leaving windows open overnight.

Upper 60's for highs today and then 4 days into the 70's ....and maybe low 80's on Mon.

Anyone else getting mosquitos once again? Those littles chits are hungry!

49 and overcast. Having a small ash/cherry fire this morning, and if there’s any merit to the 10 day forecast I’ll be done with burning for the foreseeable future.

Cool and extremely rainy lately. May have a mushroom harvest after all. No fire yet but I may bring a wheelbarrow load of wood just in case.

It brings me joy seeing all the folks revering up to start burning like the start of a NASCAR race.

Just think how much you'll be laughing at us northerners when it's 5 degrees out up here and you're wearing shorts grabbing your mail.

Came home from work and thought the house was alittle cool. Was sunny then got over cast as the day went. Wife came home from work late and said, "it's chilly in here." I asked if she wanted a fire? "If it's not much trouble."  So off I went and brought in some poplar and TOH.

57 w/ a light drizzle and heavy fog this AM. Just gets better as the day goes on, heading to high 60’s. No fires here.

I see the long range forecast in my area has high temps in the 50's in about 10 days.... But it should be, it's going to be October soon!

We should be way colder than we are...
Temps in the past few years have been 50's and 40's. Usually by the 1st of Oct. we are getting threats of snow ❄️ , disrupting harvest....
This morning we had rain,(3/4"), hail (pea to dime sized) the thunder and lightning starting at about 4:30am waking me up.....couldn't sleep after that.
Happy that we are still warm.......supposed to be in the low 80's again next week

We're warmer than usual too this Sept., I'm loving it. Had a few late lake hatches, but just gnats that don't bite. Only thing left here is small, skinny, dumb flies, much more annoying than summer flies. Weird to have the fly swatter out in late Sept here. We're ~60's next week. I'll take it and appreciate it! Did his team win?

Probably the last fire for a while with the weather that's coming.
