Had a 12-cord load arrive Friday. Looks like mostly maple and ash. I’ve also started bringing this year’s stacks into the woodshed. And finally got out onto my trails to clear some storm damage. IMG_3087.jpeg IMG_3086.jpeg IMG_3089.jpeg IMG_3098.jpeg

This method seems like it would be one heck of a time saver. I would have no idea where to even begin to look for a load of logs like that. Lot's of work ahead of ya, best of luck.

Very scenic property! Nice pile of logs. Safe cutting and looking forward to seeing the end results.

Getting a load of straight logs delivered is so easy it feels like cheating! For years I’ve cut and skidded trees off the hillside in the picture, behind the log truck. We had a logging job done a couple of years ago, so I’m only cutting blow-downs for a while.
My wife works for a logging company, and she gets a truckload a year as a job perk - we just pay for the trucking.

Nice shiny trailer too :) How long will that pile of logs last, burnwise?

So far no EAB on our property, and still spotty across VT. It does make me nervous bringing in ash logs.

We are doing 6-7 cord per yr, so just under 2yr. We are solidly in the 3-yr club, just within the past few years ago.

Two responses to this post. (1) That's a nice pile of logs. Must be nice to have connections to a logging company. (2) buZZsaw BRAD has a signature that's almost as big as that log pile. Just noticed that. He he he!

I never knew there was even a signature until i turned my phone sideways once. They don't show up in the vertical position.
