Anybody ever used "grillspot.com" or "grillparts.com" ? I need some replacement parts for my weber gas grill, and am having a helluva time finding them through weber. Could use parts for the charcoal performer as well, but thats not as pressing. I cussed the "automated text agent" and the "automated phone agent" this am...hoping that it actually is recorded for "quality assurance purposes" like it said..... Not always sure if parts are oem or not, they dont have to be, I mainly need the catch pan holder right now. I may need to replace burner tubes soon, they may be more important to be oem...Those sites have what I need for a decent price, just don't want to get took... And honestly, I'm writing this right now cause I'm a bit pizzed at how I've had a time dealing with weber. Maybe it's just me at this moment.....
I can see then piece on the weber schematic and parts list, but can't find it on the weber site. I can find it on the 2 sites listed above.
Here's my search...it said "no matches" but sometimes if you look down through the list there will be something that actually is right, or will work anyways... weber Spirit 310 lp. 46510001 catch pan holder for sale | eBay
Try calling Weber, their customer service is actually quite great. Quite possibly, depending on the age of the grill, they may even just send you the part at no charge. They sent me a couple parts for my kettle free of charge. Basically, the ash sweeper somehow wore out fairly quick and wasn't actually sealing any of the vents even in the fully closed position. They just sent me a new one after I showed them a couple pictures of exactly what I meant.
Yeah, I need one of those for my performer kettle as well... I couldn't find a phone number on their website. Because of your comment, I just googled it and a number pops up. Why I couldn't (and still can't) find it on their site annoys me, I guess they don't prefer phone calls. I'll give it a try soon. Thanks.
No business wants to talk on the phone anymore. I’d much rather talk to a person unfortunately it’s usually someone who can barely speak English.
Eckie Kind of an old thread but Have you found your parts? I’ve had good luck on weber parts through, https://www.ereplacementparts.com/?...U9q9N9KdxBMU9-FTHsuyd8fni4RRT-yhoCUlcQAvD_BwE
The red top I still have and use. The blue one I still own but it’s at work and we use it to cook there. The stainless one I gave to my brother in law for his birthday a few years back.
Thanks for the link, I'll check it out. Got busy with other stuff and hadn't pursued the grill stuff anymore...
It was a pretty time consuming process. Took them completely apart, every nut and bolt, all the frame pieces. Had to weld the frame up on the red one but the other ones were solid. Everything power washed and scrubbed. Frame and grill box got sanded then painted. Put everything back together, some new parts here and there. If you’re patient you can pick them up cheap from someone who got a new grill. That’s the key, find one that’s not too far gone and pay a little for it. Then on big trash day I find the ones that are really shot and salvage parts. I’m Sure it varies regionally but around here people throw out some decent stuff and we have a big trash pickup 3x a year. Have right about 500 bucks into the three of them. Figure that’s not too bad seeing what 500 will get you new can’t compare to these. My weber rehabbing days are probably over as it was mostly a Covid project when I had an abundance of time.
