I recall seeing those cookstoves in homes when I was just a kid. I recall having some biscuits from one of them. Oh my, so good. Everyone is in such a hurry now. Both people work, so having a morning fire for breakfast is out of the question.

Right now I am back home working on finishing a punch list for our new offices.
Call 800 968 8604 and ask for me and someone will come find me or take a message to call.
My cell number is available to Horders if you PM me.

I will make a new post called Pryomania .
In the meantime my website has lots of cool picks and wildfire info.
We just redid this site too so let me know if you guys like it.

Yeah they moan about some stove smoke and they forget about how many thousands of tons of particulate are released with one wildfire.
    It is all about regulations.

CDFuote="Beetle-Kill, post: 143146, member: 362"]Great pics. Woody, got a few of my own like that-( CDF from the late 80's-early 90's). 1K+ initial attacks.
What's the best way to contact you these day's? Want to talk about that potential 380.
    Thanks, JB[/quote]
You should post them too. We are CDF contractors and waiting on a dispatch now to California as Montana gave permission for us to leave as our fire dangers have decreased in the past week.

Ok you fellow Pyromaniacs I finally found the pictures I told you I wanted to show you guys, they are called the Southern Cross and the pictures show a wooden cross in Southern California and a wildfire that swept in and consumed the area but the cross did not have a char mark or any soot on it.
When you fight these kinds of fires, you see unexplainable things more often than you would otherwise.
These pictures were taken by a reporter who was there covering the story for the LA Daily News back in 2009.
I can tell you this, I don't think I ever met an atheist out there next to me on the fireline.

Go to the sub-forum you want to post in. At the top right of the page there is a "post new thread" box.

Don't feel bad Woody, I don't even know how to post pics.
I did find some old Polaroid's of my CDF days. Can't believe how young and geeky I looked.
But close my eyes, yeah, clear as day. Can still feel the heat.

    Thanks Fox, Ok here goes.
    I'll post a few tonight.

The pics are harder if they are are polaroids Beetle Kill, you'll need to scan them into your Puter and I can explain how to post pics from there. I really would love to see those old CDF pics.
    1. At the bottom lower right is the "Upload a File" button.
    2. Save the scanned pictures to your desktop or other file location you can find.
    3. You can upload a pic from your computer to the Horder Server that way

If you want to share a picture off a website you can click the little picture to the right of the smiley face on the tool bar at the top of the box your typing in.
The pic has to have its own page to share this way, you cant pic one picture on a website and share it without first saving it to your computer and then uploading it in the 3 steps above.

    Good luck,

What do you think of the name of the new post should be?
    Pyromaniacs Unite?
    Smoked Stuff?
    Combustion Club? I like that.:firepit:

OK Scotty I took your advice and made two new topics
First "Boys and Girls and Their Toys" where I shared the equipment we use to fight wildfires.
    http://firewoodhoardersclub.com/for...oys-or-girls-and-their-toys.6244/#post-150280

Next you have the Combustion Club where I shared a few of the wildfire pictures I have.
    http://firewoodhoardersclub.com/forums/index.php?threads/the-combustion-club.6243/

I hope you guys gain some insight into what a wildfire that turns into a firestorm from hell is like.......totally unbelievable unless you see it with your own eyes. It is like it become alive and has a mind of its own. Thats why it says "Plum Crazy" on the back of our fire equipment.
