Finally got around to cleaning up a dead elm blow over from last weeks storm. Decided to use the stealth saw since its the only one currently sporting a sharp chain. Still have a hickory blowover to clean up. That one pizzed me off nice straight good sized hickory and its in a low spot too. Not sure how that really happened.
Yes sir def getting used this year its all bone dry. Might get the hickory tommorow morning if its cool enough.
Getting humid here and maybe record highs for Monday and Tuesday. Big difference between today and yesterday. Getting sticky here...yuck!
We’re supposed to have upper 90’s through early week. Just going to relax. If I do any work it will be early morning before it warms up over 85*. even last night the low was only 76*F.
That's about as perfect as elm scores get. No bark, no mess and long-dead makes much better firewood compared to a live elm. Best way to get it IMO.
