    Well metalcuttr ifnit stops flipping raining probably 27” since July 1; i basically stopped counting.. it will be CSS and become firewood.

    Didn’t ask; I want to use the dozer for a few hours that came next .. no :ithappened: I was moving stuff as tractor was turning around in drive..

    Thanks for the memory flashback Jeff. I vividly remember those Brunswick days of pounding thunder showers then pounding summer sun. Then the steam rising so thick and hot that you almost couldn't breath.

    For newer hoarders 16 odd years ago I had a F-1 tornado go through back yard. I couldn’t let my kids in woods because every time a breeze blew you could hear stuff fall. So I had loggers come make it safe..
    Back when I thought 5 cord of wood was plenty :rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:

    Ok I investigated today.. there is a loader feller-buncher skidder and a dozer

    and a pile of hard wood tops that will get me onto the 5 year plan 50 feet from processing area:dancer:

    Was up in Newport and Derby last weekend for my nieces wedding. First time around that lake. Very nice area. Anywhere near you?

    I’m on west side of state about about 90 minutes from my house BUT great friends went to Newport high school only high school in area (beside catholic) so if they from that area I know the family. Family friend did building maintenance on school 29 years!

    VT has 2 interstates one does up Connecticut river valley. I91 Brattleboro to Derby line
    89 goes White River across state and up Champlain valley to Canada border I live off

    Is there such a thing? I mean, some is easier than others, like getting a load of splits for free, but still needs unloaded and stacked.

    Ok pics my house is on top of hill where the flat is. The garage and barn back up to the farmers land about 60 acres to the corn field.

    Splitting leftover so we can load dry wood and get it up to house and putting dry rot in burn pit..
    Nephew’s running splitter
    Daughter grabbing chair for my dad who wanted to supervise. We quit at 2:30 hit 81 in full sun.. cooler temps coming.. got 2.5 cord split some stacked and organized

    that’s a 4x8 wood trailer behind Honda easy holds 1/2 cord No sense picking it off ground more than you half to
