    Back story is, wife and I drove to Cooperstown NY today to see an MC Escher collection. This is one of my favs, Waterfall.

    The property had many huge trees. Here’s some more BL, on the edge of a gold course.

    Did you go to the Baseball HOF? It’s a beautiful area. My son played the 12yo tournament there 12yrs ago.

    We didn’t. Not baseball fans, at all. At 5 hours one way, we didn’t have much time to do anything else.


    I didn't think about lumber either buZZsaw BRAD . :whistle: And I'm not sure on a diameter guess. My wife took a pic when I was close to it for size reference, then the golf card drove by and I thought that would be good. Had to be at least 38-40”, probably more at the swells.

    Trying to think of the biggest ive seen in person around here. More than likely the one i just cut up.

    Those trees get lots of sunlight and no competing trees so they will get big. Being on a golf course they're well maintained too.
