Ever see the video of the guy loading his tractor onto the trailer on a hill? Tractor lifts the weight off the rear tires and the whole shooting match rolls way!

At least he had the flashers on!
Dunno what it hit, but it sounded pretty solid!
If he would have just continued driving onto the trailer, everything would have come to a stop! :picard:
But I know, you don't always think things through in the moment...just react.

That is why I spent the extra few $$$$ to have tail-end drop jacks put on when I spec'd my trailer. They take the excessive squat out when loading.

Setting the E brake turns on the trailer brakes on our truck. I'm sure they all do. He must've just had it in park. I started to use the E Brake every time I park years ago for two reasons. One, To form the habit so when its actually needed I automatically do it and two, to keep the components freed up for when I DO need it.
Myself, if in his situation, reverse tractor off immediately. Mine being hydrostatic drive it would have been off the trailer in an instant.

I do the same with a few blocks of wood.
Hmmm, I don’t think my F150 will do that but never really checked. Could always use the breakaway switch I guess.
