I'm luvin these low temps were having, no a/c and no heat(yet). Very enjoyable as you can only take so much clothes off in the heat!!

Good snoozy morning in the shack for all, Lazy bones Brodie let me sleep until 10 am. I think he's enjoying this weather as well. I bet we still get our early afternoon nap in too! :D

Nothing wrong with naps. I find now I tend to take one mid-afternoon, helps as Lori gets up later than I do and with a nap I can stay up later at night so we can binge watch stuff online together.

So this came in Thursday afternoon

    Pallet Jack.jpg

It is to move all of this around (not the small stuff - LOL). That small stack behind the unwrapped pellets will get moved into the basement before any moving begins.
Pallet piles in middle of garage.jpg

I need to get all the unwrapped pellets to the middle of the garage, so I can use them up first without doing the sidle and twist to get to them - which at my age might end up in damage that doesn't heal overnight.
Pallet piles at side of garage.jpg

Going forward it will help immensely with pellet deliveries. Previously they were able to push 3 tons into the middle of the garage with their big machine but that wasn't good for the floor that already has cracking. Plus, the other 3 tons were left on the driveway so I had to move each bag by hand (thus the piles at the wall) . Stacking the 3 tons of pellets, although good for exercise, was not pleasant (that isle is just wide enough for me to squeeze thru).
Oh yea, and moving everything around will force me to clean up the area so it looks less like a tornado hit it :D.

Now I gotta install the handle to the jack, then pray for a dry day so I can move stuff out to the driveway for the re-org.

Actually I do occasionally do YouTube old time radio. Love classic baseball games from the 30s,40s &50s. Have always been into baseball history (been playing Strat-O-Matic baseball since 67). Also love the 39-45 radio shows, news broadcasts from WWII. My dad joined the navy out of high school in 44 and have always been into WWII history.

Sweep really really good before you start pallet jacking! I have one of those. when moving pellets 1 tiny wood pellet or pebble on the floor will stop you dead in your tracks. Not even He Man will get you moving again!

Yup. I did warehouse & truck driver for 7 years. It's amazing how tiny of an object can stop those rollers. And if it really catches you by surprise that handle to the gut hurts like hell.

My dad got drafted after he quit high school, the time overseas was his wake moment a lot came back with a bottle. He was no longer a hellion (whole family was made up of them, his great grandpa ran a pub in London and was a Royalist) not the same kind of radio you tube me like'em this kind https://www.youtube.com/@W1VLF and a lot of others. I have over 18,800 known ancestors and that includes at least 3 British Empire Loyalists, I am a Mayflower passenger decedent and related to all of the European royal houses. My ancestors were on both sides in the 1066 battle of Hastings, I have In law relations going back to prior to 500 BCE.

Thanks for the reminder. It has been a long, long time since the last time I used a pallet jack. Probably 25 years or so.

Got the handle and chain installed yesterday, tested to make sure it goes up and down then rolled it off the pallet and onto the floor.
