    Hey guys I need a little help identifying this tree. I am thinking it may be a poplar or maybe some type of oak but nor sure. Please let me know if more info is needed.

    That's predominantly what we have around here in terms of the oak family. See more of that than all varieties of red and white oak combined. It's really nice stuff.

    Good friend has a Chestnut Oak in his yard and he knows I like trees and cut wood, etc. He asked me what kind and I remembered a while back someone had post on here I remembered the pictures. When they bought the house the previous owners said it was a transplant from Pennsylvania.
