Just a little PSA for y'all. Two days ago I had an incident that has led me to think everything can and will try to harm or kill you. I use this product after every pressure washer use to purge water from the pump. It fills it with a foam antifreeze and lubricant. Anyway, I'm doing this the other day and the hose popped off at the can and shotguned my face with that foam and I breathed it in. My glasses kept the majority out of my eyes. I thought I was going to have to go to the ER because I immediately could tell my lungs were not thrilled. I read the safety instructions about eyes, inhalation ect. It took a good 45 minutes of coughing regularly to start to feel my chest loosen up and a good 24 hrs for my lungs to feel normal again. It was like having bronchitis instantly. I ended up removing that useless black sleeve they put on to keep the hose on the can and a zip tie now ensures it can't even be pulled off by hand. Be careful out there. Even the most ordinary tasks and products want us dead.
Glad to hear you are feeling better. It is amazing how quickly something can go south and things can spin out of control. Happens even faster the older you get.
It’s always good practice to occasionally squirt yourself in the eye with carburetor cleaner so they’re ready for instances such as this. #GarageReady
It was so fast. I'm not sure if I was breathing in or the pressure forced it in but it was bad for a while.
I sure wouldn't expect that to be so dangerous. Thanks for the heads up! Never know what's going to get you.
Ive used it or ither brands for years. It was a freak thing I guess. It sure did blast me good. Hopefully I won't freeze this winter and my sinuses stay well lubed
