The rain is back. Already over 3 inches in the trash can. Still more predicted into the evening. I don't ever remember so many rainy days with flash flooding and washouts. I sure am glad I put ground drain in, under, and around the foundation. I had to go to the hospital this AM for some scheduled blood work. On my way there, I saw some limbs down. I would have thought they would have come down in prior storms, but that isn't how it works. Thank goodness the hospital has a covered area so my wife could drop me off with my wheelchair and not get soaking wet. Not waiting at the lab. That was a first. I think a lot of folks didn't want to be out in this weather. Now back home where it is dry inside. Hate to think of those camping outside.
Good news today, I chipped a tooth this past weekend and was able to get to the dentist today to have it looked at. She found where the chip had broken off of one of my wisdom teeth and did some poking around it and asked if anything bothered it. I said no so she said come back if it ever does bother me. Not big enough chip to repair. I can live with that. I am still working on getting things ready for the new septic system to go in next week.
We're getting a day of sun with the temp at 79 so far, it has been a crazy wet azz summer. I hope you're in for some dry weather, up here that means one day.
Never liked the feeling of a chipped tooth in my mouth. Hope yours dose not come to bother you later on.
Dumping rain outside. Garden could use some...been pretty dry here. Blackberries are finally about done but the raspberries are taking off. Picked about 60 lbs of tomatoes last night...lots of canning in the next few evenings.
Great that the chipped tooth wasn't a big deal. I chipped a molar years ago, went to the dentist and she ground down the sharp edges that bothered me and still haven't had to do anything else to it.
I have a chipped molar too, would rather have it ground down than a crown. I'll ask my dentist. Food gets between the teeth there but the gap is wide enough it's not hard to get out. I still need that flipping root canal on a front top side tooth
