    As fast as native cottonwoods grow, it’s almost scary how fast they claim these hybrids mature.

    Hybrid cottonwoods grow fast but die off just as fast, poor choice in my book. But hey, if you want something that has root issues, breaks up in storms and dies as fast as it grows and is a poor firewood at best plant away. Not to mention the water that it needs to stay alive....
