Never heard of spearing for sturgeon, but I know Minnesota and Wisconsin both have angling season for those dinosaurs.
Hi all ya Hoarders. I haven’t been here for quite a few months. I kinda left suddenly. I had to deal with a serious health issue and my head just wasn’t into following or making any posts. I wound up with lung disease and they are now sending me for a lung transplant consultation. Can’t do to much being on oxygen and I still haven’t asked my doctors if it’s OK to burn wood. I missed all you guys and will probably be dropping in more often. Hope you all have been well.
I don't personally know you but pray that everything turns out well with a transplant. My uncle was the 8th heart transplant ever done at AGH in Pittsburgh. Extended his life by 10 great years.
My father had a single lung transplant in 2009, he was in a group of people and they all had to drop weight before the operation. My father dropped around 15 at home and then went and workout at the facility Duke Hospital had, he dropped close to another 10 there and went to number one on the list for a transplant in his group. I'm not sure if they still do it that way but it can't hurt if you start early dropping some weight or just getting in better shape, easier said then done.
Godspeed Al, I've said some prayers already when you weren't here and will continue. Did your eyes calm down? Like above, I too have a friend that received new lungs, a double lung transplant, she's doing well ~11 years later.
