I don’t care if it is pine. Forest service made it real easy…Two miles from home. I’m in need of replenishing my shoulder season wood and with it all cut up and piled on the roadside how could I NOT grab it?! Got five loads! I’m a happy camper!

I’m not even a huge fan of pine myself but that video showing all those roadside piles had me almost drooling

Wish I could find some pine to add to the stacks.

You'll clog your chimneys with that crap hahah. I'd use all my permits on that material.

Wow! They certainly made that easy! I imagine that’ll dry quickly in AZ.

I agree with everyone else, great score and one I would have trouble turning down as well.

It’s still green but I give it a year after it’s split and stacked before I start burning it.

    Free is for me.

I can burn a cord or two of eastern white pine every Winter easy.
I'd grab all I had time / space for.

Nice! About how long does wood take to dry out there on average? My wife and I were in Vegas for a conference in June. Humidity was in the low double digits. Had me wishing there was an effective way to season firewood out there!

If we had any pine other than Southern Yellow Pine available here I wouldn’t mind some in my firewood stash:smoke:

There was no way to get it all. The video stopped but the wood went on for another mile or so. It was an incredible amount of wood. 5 loads was all I had time for that day and it’s all gone now.

I imagine it'd go quick. Thats was some nice stuff. I hear ya though. The times when you get a feast of wood at your disposal there's only so much you can "eat". Been there many times myself.
