Wow!!! Big stuff produces a lot of firewood, but you earn every dime playing with rounds like that. Would love to see a picture of one of those on the splitter.

Jeff, In one of the pictures it appears that the power/telephone lines are in your way while loading the trailer, or is it optical illusion?:) Either way those are some monsters!

I'm doing pretty well overall. Had a couple arthritis flare ups that kinda kicked my butt, but I'm back from that. I've been enjoying watching all you guys working out in the heat...

I did clear a couple new trails along the east fence line and have been plugging away at splitting all the wood I have cut and stacked... I like cutting, I'm ok with stacking cuz I know I gotta get it up off the ground, but when it comes to splitting, I procrastinate worse than a D- student planning on dropping out trying to study for a final exam...

Sounds like you two jumped right back into the groove after your June PA vacation. It was a pleasure meeting you two out there.

Totes we have left to fill....
Prepped these 2 tall totes the other evening... 0731230739_HDR.jpg 0729230814.jpg
Stopped by our veteran neighbor's house and picked up these 2 empties from last year. A friend had given us the cages, no bottom. Gonna build some pallets that fit the cage... 0731230740.jpg

Going to make a pallet bottom for this tote as well, banged and bent up 0731230742.jpg 0731230742a.jpg

I had a tote to repair. I found the blue or red pallets work well. They're the right (standard) size and very heavy duty. Plus I always get a bunch for free.

Your perfect pieces and great looking stacks have inspired me over the last year to improve how I operate. Looks do matter when a customer has to frequently see their racks/stacks at their storage place.

Nice stack! I see you still have quality ash in your area. How bad is the EAB there?

:handshake: thank you, sir. 3/4" conduit couplings work great, especially on the totes with square tubing.
