Sold my ms170 to a CL buyer a week or two ago. During the transaction he offered a trade. My echo-cs400 ( sorry pallet Pete. Know you have been asking about one recently as of today) for his crafstman 900 series 17" dual rear tine tiller that "has some clogged fuel passages". Finished up the trade today with $50 to boot in my pocket for the carb... Can anyone steer me in the direction of an online source for a new carb?... I will be checking the obvious. Filters, lines, And whatnots. Pics since everyone likes em'.
Think I found what I was looking for. http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-number/420594/0071/917
Didnt realize that!! HF sells ones that are banned in the people republic of Cali as well. That is an extremely situation I would find the carb too. But I do like the HF motors there actually good and reliable.
If it's a honda clone (of a GX200) then perhaps an aftermarket carb for the GX200 will fit? http://www.hlsproparts.com/Honda-GX200-6-5-hp-carburetor-16100-ZL0-W51-p/h20200.htm
When is a janitor not a janitor? when his title says maintenance engineer. Its either fuel injected , carburetor or throttle body fuel injection. All three are liquid fuel combustion technology
The guy I got it from also gave me a honda carb that is ever so slightly different. Looks like it will have to be the proper honda clone carb.
